I have heard some good things about a card grading company in NSW.

http://www.cardgradingaustralia.com/#!

I have some PC I want to get graded so might give them a go...

The other question is would using this company add value to a card you are looking to sell?
Is a card graded "96 pristine" for example going to get same return as a Beckett 9.5?

Have you used them?
If so, would you use them again?

 or

Im a huge supporter of them

I have sent 6 cards in so far and will be sending in another 15 or so very soon.

Service is great, Craig communication is great. Every card also comes in a plastic sleeve as well.

Regarding the Value question its hard to say as not many people know about them but myself i would rather by a card graded by someone rather than risk the chance of buying a card, received it and its damaged.

If their your PC i guess your not going to sell so go for it

Remember bid on there auctions on ebay or contact them on info.cgau@gmail.com and he should be able to give you the ebay price of $7.70 per card

Also you question "Is a card graded "96 pristine" for example going to get same return as a Beckett 9.5"

Its hard to say the only way to tell how on par each other gradings are is to but a cheap graded beckett or psa card open it and send the card to CGA and see what it comes back as.
I have put this to Crag so i will see what he said im willing to but two cheap PSA and Beckett graded cards that have the same grading eg 8, pull them apart and send them in and see what he grades them

PS here is a thread where myself and another member got some cards graded

How safe are they also? I have a few cards I wouldn't mind getting graded but would be worried about them getting lost or damaged.

Very safe well packed and only sent via registered post so when you fill the form in you can put what each card is worth and they insure it for that amount when sending back

You have this one graded as 95 (Mint).....the top left corner and the top edge doesn't look anywhere near mint to me. Is this a photo error? Also if you look at the centering of the card by looking at the name banner at the bottom......looks off center to me, but maybe this is the case with all these cards that the name banner is not centered. Also the bottom left corner is white and the bottom edge on the right is a little white.

With these in mind.....and the pictures are not deceiving me, the their grading may not be what I would pay my money for......Aussie business or not. Don't get me wrong but if that is the case, then I would not be spending my money for their grading service.

But if their grading was up to scratch, then if I were to grade some cards just to keep for myself, then maybe I would go with them, since they are in the same town so I wouldn't have to send them half way across the world. I would know I could drop it off with them and pick it up again and not be at risk of incidental damage in transit.

ide like to see results with that, i think it should be done the other way, get the card graded at CGA, see the grading, then remove card and send to beckett and see what they send back.
