Hey all!

Just wondering if anyone has any idea why the 2013-14 Flawless Diamond Relics are so expensive? Really finding it hard to justify paying for these as I don't think they are anything flash...if I'm missing something can someone let me know! :blink:

I'm watching a Tyson Chandler jersey numbered and it's currently going for more than I would of like to fork out... http://www.ebay.com/itm/311143291851?_trksid=p2060778.m1431.l2649&ssPageName=STRK:MEBIDX:IT
It only has an hour and change to go but what do you think it could go to?

Someone on Blowout got the diamond appraised and it was worth about $5 or 10.

The thing is these base cards look nice, are super limited 20 only and come from a product selling for $3000+ per case.

Just imagine if at the height of Exquisite how much a Jordan/Lebron/Kobe etc base card #/20 would have sold for?

Yeah I guess it's just the price of the case coming through maybe...I would of expected a card like this wouldn't have gone for more than $30USD...maybe the diamond has bumped it up.

Really don't know if I should go for it or not!!!! Someone help me make a decision hahaha!!!
 
I wish faried's base only went for that! I've seen the RY version sell for more than 10x that price!

Oh - and 100% worth having in a PC they look awesome in hand

Hey fellas I actually let it slip...my credit card is looking a little scary at the moment and I'm saving some cash for a big time card if one pops up! Also 1st year wedding anniversary next week so gotta look after the wifey! I'm actually surprised I showed restraint! I've got 49 cards sitting out COMC waiting for me to ship them out too...so fair to say I've been quite active! haha ;)

This price is definitely not expensive.

Like others have said, from the most expensive product around. There will be flippers, hoarders, set collectors and player collectors all after these cards and there's only 20 out there.

I really like the clean look of the base, I just think the entire product is way over priced.
 
I assume it's following on from the hype surrounding last years base set and people are spending more on them because they don't want to miss out.

Yeah i guess compared to other cards released I thought it was a bit out of left field and hadn't seen other players and what they had gone for.

Funnily enough I just sold a card which could of paid for this Chandler card...ehh you win some you lose some! :)
