just throwing it out there I case others have had this experience. Have a large parcel of cards that was sent roughly a week before Xmas (and the public holidays). Would the holidays have held it up as I am yet to receive it. I have received card from the breaker for two breaks after xmas already.

I have the usps that tracks only in the US and a customs number. Any ideas/help appreciated as I am worried I have just done $400 bucks in lol.

I had a package sent by UPS, took 2-3 business days to be delivered.
Had a second package, sent Priority Parcel by USPS, took 10 business days. Was sent before the UPS package, arrived 1 week after the UPS package.

Comparatively for the weight, it cost about the same for the UPS and USPS.

With the UPS it was sent from site, to hub on EC, on to hub in WC, then to Aus. Took 1 day to process in Aus.

With USPS, it was sent from the PO, to a local hub, to another state hub, to another state further away, then to another state close to the first, then to WC, then to Hawaii, then to Aus, where it sat for about 3-4 days, before getting to my local PO.

It was sitting in Mascot......my PO is in Erskineville......for those who may not know, that is 2 suburbs away.

All the courier companies I believe tend to process customs in flight, so there is no delay once it gets to Aus. You can see for efficiency, that is some idle time where work can be done on the packages for a few hours.
