What a game, by far the best game of the season this year. SO many highlights and the pressure put on by both sides in the last quarter was amazing.
some highlights:
- Bruce' snap to win the game
- Davey's final quarter run on the wing out running 3 sydney chasers
- yzes toe poke goal
- nick davis full feild run to nail a goal from 50+ metres
- many, many tackles and huge hits
- and pickett, best game ive seen him play in years, all his posessions were effective and his run was team lifting.

demons finally get a win, and oh what a win it was , undermanned by 3 for nearly the whole second half

if swans play like that for the rest of the year they will be alright. Their 3rd quarter display was awesome, i didnt know they could run like that and move the ball with such precision.

i know their are some one eyed supporters here but if you watched that game and said it sucked then you are a dickhead, was a great game to watch regardless of who you follow.

and the demons have like 7 games at the G in the next 10 games i think.
 
Nah the Demons played very well....it was certainly one of the best games of the year so far. Its still only early on in the season...plenty of games to come.

phew...was sweating watching the last quarter as i picked the dees this week. but yeah great game and great win for the dees, maybe justice for last weeks defeat.
 
I nearly tipped Dees... but alas no (still I tipped Eagles, Crows and Doggies (and Hawks of course) so I think I've done well with some hard to call matches....

But yeah Cameron Bruce certainly does shine when it matters.... great player for the Dees. Very good game I have to concur....
 
Good game Jonno, very closley faught match between 2 pretty even squads. we still have the BIG one to go on Tuesday, GO PIES!!!!
 
I have a feeling that win could well cause some flow on effects for the Demons........I may have to tip them for the next few games !!!
 
Well done Dees but to say it was the best match of the year is wrong 2nd best maybe...anyone who saw the dogs cats match will agree it was the best match of the year if not for quite a few

Great game...needless to say i was on the edge of my seat for most of the last quarter. Cam Bruce is gaining god like status in my book. He has had a fantastic start to the season and to kick the game winner yesterday is justice.

Dogs VS Cats game was good....but the dees winning is better!!!
 
Robo needs to lift, in my books if he was firing my god damn DREAMTEAM would be doing well!

nah seriously hes gotta get some confidence, the dees will be a 5 goal better team if that happens.
 
well finally we are back at the G so maybe robbo will return to form. He probally will now without skipper david neitz.
i watched both the demons and bulldogs game and i still think the demons match was better, not taking anything away from the game at the dome because that was great to watch aswell.

mclean and neita will be out this week and maybe PJ (hope not though)
so i hope to see Bate get his first game, and would like to see beamer and biz get a game. Dutchy might get his first game of the year too.

we'll see Justin and Shoes, WE"LL SEE , top 4 is not out of the question just yet for the demons.
You cant write much after 4 rounds, the 8 will not stay that way i can guarantee you that. This year looks to be a very even competition, if you loook at the ladder you will see the bottom eight all on 1 and 3 after 4 rounds if port and the dons were to lose. And some of the teams in the 8 will really come back down to earth soon enough. I mean last years premiers are in the bottom 8 for one.
 
they are in the bottom 8 simply becuase thats where they belong . Sydney will not make the 8 this year, either will the Blues, Lions, Power and Tigers. As for the rest everyone is a chance. So you have 5 teams who are simply not good enough.
