Buying padded bags in Bulk

Just a heads up and reminder that buying padded bags #2 in bulk is much muhc cheaper.

I've just gone to my local PO and picked up a box of 100 for $44.55 much cheaper than paying $1.10 per bag normally (or $110 for every hundred)

Yep buying all padded bags in boxes of 100 from Auspost works out heaps cheaper if you can afford the upfront cost.

I bought 6 yesterday and the lady asked me the very same question.
Just can't see myself using 100 of them anytime soon

I don't see myself either, but if you don't use them all you can always just sell them off for like 80cents each and make a bit of cash.

I just reuse old padded bags and package them inside a new C5 envelope which costs $40 for a box of 500 envelopes.

8 cents!

Even cheaper!

Then there is the costs of sending it to people... works out to be around break-even...

i used to buy them in bulks of ten and it worked out to get one free. they have since upped the first discount to 20 bags. next time i run out i may consider the 100

Ive bought the 100 box twice now, if you can't see yourself giving up trading/selling then you'll use them eventualy! It took me around 6 months or so to go through the first box and about a month or so for the 2nd when I was selling a heap of cheap stuff on the bay.

I reuse them aswell.. But some of them are demented from being used so much..
