As the title states.... ive never done the comc mailbox thing but want to give it a try.
So many cards i want are on the bay and blowout all the time in the states but its a killer getting them posted individually all the time. Has anyone used the comc mailbox service? is it easy and do sellers on ebay or blowout have any problems doing it for you?
Also how much is registered post within the states?
Please let me know if you have done it and if it was easy or not.
Also i read there is a $1 charge per card from comc to process them to your account, If there is no funds in comc account do they still process it until you deposit funds then debit it?
Ive used it for probably 20 ebay purchases have had no issues. With regards to having them sent from COMC to NZ I have probably had about 6 shipments as i like to let the cards build up first. I had one shipment not show up but when I got in touch with COMC about this they gave me a refund of the BV in cards which was great service but I'm still hopiong they show up one day.
I think its a great service especially for us Kiwis and Aussies to stay in the hobby
I've used it countless times. I shudder to think how much my card spending has gone up since this was launched!
Never had a blowout guy knock it back, eBay never had a problem either. Yes they will still process it if no funds, your account will be in the negative and you obviously need to rectify that to be able to ship anything.
They add you cards regardless of your available funds.
Last shipment I had was 112 cards.
Just be careful you select the right address when purchasing - my last case break was posted to my mailbox instead of Australia - that's going to cost me over 80 bucks in fees alone.
Also purchases from ebay and the like don't qualify for COMCs' normal $3.00 flat rate shipping. Those 112 cards shipped registered express was $80 US
