Busted 2 boxes & 1pack treasury: Its all Money :)

Thats right guys, I was feeling the itch to open some wax as buying singles were just not cutting it so I decided to buy 2 boxes of treasury and when my total came to 148 they offer free shipping of 150 and over so i bit the bullet and order 1 loose pack as well. I guess I beat the odds as you get 1 rip card per box and in the loose pack it yielded the rip card below

now I won't bore you guys and I will only show you the supposely hits of the following 2 boxes, the rookies were more BLEH than anything else as I didn't pull none of the big two.

I did hit some mojo with the following card

topps was smart, they inser a black film over all the mini cards. so when you rip open the card you first have to remove the black paper film than you reveal the mini


i talked to several people on ebay who did pull a logoman mini and so far all seem to say they pulled them from /299 rip cards and they say you can tell if there is a mini logoman inside because the rip card is actually thicker than a normal rip card and it wouldnt be too soft and flimsy which the shaq is. whats inside could be anything though and topps said on there site that they inserted the grand prize of 1k in a 1/1. my question is did they make 1/1 money rip cards or are they all number to /42 and the only 1/1 rip cards are these 50. such tough decisions for sure

Good stuff on the $100...if you were in Australia, that would be $150 at the moment, and could be up to $200 in a few weeks (j/k everyone...or am I???)

I think it is definitely a tough one on the Shaq 1/1...I would think that you could only get money out of the Money rip cards, not the "normal" rip cards...I guess it is best to hold onto it now anyway...if the big prizes do surface then no great need to rip...if they don't then maybe you can rip it up (or neatly open it...if that is possible).

Have you got a scan of the black film? I'm intrigued (being a scientist) as to what these are made of, and to whether there are any new analytical techniques of "peeking into the abyss". I've got a few rip cards coming in, so I guess I'll find out first hand soon enough. I am also skeptical of how the gold cards have been protected from basic metal detecting or other searching techniques.

the melo sold for 180 and the russell for 200 and now is back on trying to make a profit so we will see what the crazy shaq collectors will offer

Hate these rip cards... if you know it is not a logoman and it is just money you can get out of ripping the card, you're doing the right thing selling it on eBay... imagine ripping the 1/1 and get a Caron Butler /299 mini inside lol.. is that even possible?
