Just went down to the newsagent and picked up 10 packs of 2009 Select NRL Champions. Couldn't believe the newsagent actually had 2 full boxes ready to go, and also 4 or 5 albums for sale.

Out of my 10 packs I got the commons obviously - i've only scanned the Jersey Die Cuts, Red Foil Sigs (Luke Bailey and Luke Patten) and the one Acetate Mascot Gem Card of Paul Gallen (Sharks) - I think theres at least one Sharkies fan here I think I did well out of 10 packs!

they indeed look great! i said i wouldnt collect them all but i might end up doing so again! lol the jersey holographic cuts really look sweet
Will pick up some packets when i go down to brisbane tommorow i suppose

Really nice break G! I never thought I would say this but I got 8 odd packs of the NRL champions thinking they would be practically the same as last year but they are really nice cards! The jersey holographic cards are really nice in hand. That Paul Gallen is a beauty

Thanks for sharing. I agree with everyone on the jersey cards, i loved the older ones but these are awesome. Would love to grab the Tigers set, will grab a few packs when my local newsagent stocks them.

I like how the NRL Die Cut set is random n teh packs, with AFL you get al least 2 complete teams in a box and 36 cards in numerical order.

pick from the right side of the box....i did and so did shaun (smc2910), its where the hits are lads

It was probably luck they happened to be on the right hand side. I've done a number of boxes and the hits were all over the place.

When i busted abox of AFL champs, all the hits were on the right hand side as well.

Got nothing in the left hand side, maybe a sig or 2.

its true right side has the hits, bought only 2 packets today, got el masri sketch, bowen jersey and slater jersey! thats pretty good if you ask me.

Those are quality hits !!!,
What are the odds of getting sketch cards in packs ??? They don't have them in the AFL sets.
