I have a hardcover book - Berries to Bulldogs - celebrating 50 years of Canterbury RLFC

It is signed inside by most if not all the 1984 or 1985 squad
Some names identified are
Steve Folkes
Daryl Brohman
Warren Ryan
Terry Lamb
Peter Kelly
Paul Langmack
Steve O'Brien
Jim Leis
Phil Gould
Mark Bugden
Michael hagan
Phil Sigsworth
Andrew Farrar

Others I think
Mark Sargent?
Peter Mortimer?
david Gillespie?
Greg ....?

Can people help with other signatures
PLUS
what would this be worth?
PLUS
is there a doggies fan who would offer a good price?

I like it considering I am a magpies fan and it has Jim Leis and Terry Lamb signtures

PLUS
I assume they all old playing day signatures?

Cheers darren

Probably 1985 Warren Ryan was coach. Possibly a mixture of both years!

Sigsworth was at Manly 1984

Greg ? could be Greg Mullane

champion.one does look like Greg mullane. I just wasn't sure he was there at time.
cheers.
i probably would think $50 is about right however would need more than that to sell it. Lol.

Yeah i know what you mean and Bulldogs Memorabilia does fluctuate often so good luck.

Interestingly Jimmy Leis was 1 of my favourite players- in a Wests Jersey of course- though he didnt play in either the 84 or 85 Grand Finals. A little bit of trivia. lol

Yeah Ray Brown was another favourite and yet he only played the 1979 season and was named Hooker of the 70's for Wests ahead of John Purcell and Shane Day! Go Figure! lol

Surely someone would pay $200 for that.

Those old signatures are awesome! When you compare them to the ones you see today ... well, that's why I'd never bother getting in person sigs these days.

I was thinking that too James. If someone had an old magpies book from the early 80s or late 70s signed by all their stars id pay more than $200 for it. Especially playing days autos rather than modern autos in old book.
Got a mad bulldogs supporter for a cousin that may get a nice xmas pressie this year.

Yeah exactly, it being the type of book it is adds a lot to it as well, I think.

This is just my opinion and i dont mean to offend or anything of the kind, but the way i look at it, is that books arent worth much these days( i mean books not magazines) and yes the signatures on the page are great, but you cant rip the page out of the book( i know you actually can) so it can only sit on a shelf and unless you tell someone about the sigs in the book then it does not show anything. Framed Signed Jerseys are $300 and are a great display and easy to see.

I hope someone does pay $200 for it but i would prefer the jersey if i were to buy either.

Like i said just my opinion and the way i see it.

i have a signed wests magpies jumper signed by Paul merlo and Dallas Donnelly. Obviously signed back in the day. Love it. I see a tommy raudonikis sig on a modern jumper and i don't value it as much even though i live tommy. To me the history of the sigs more valuable than a pretty looking sig. My opinion. Lol. Best part of this hobby we not all chasing the same things.
