Brisbane/Gold Coast card shops?

Hi guys, i'll be in Brisbane next Friday & Saturday, then down to Surfers for a week. Does anyone know of any card shops in these areas that will be stocking the new AFL cards, and maybe any NBA stuff?

fastbreak in nundah,not great, but if your in the area, check it out. Also there use to be a trading card shed at the carrara markets on the weekends,but havent been there in years, so i dont know if they still operate.

what do they stock in nundah?

ive just moved up less than a omnth ago and im a big hobbyist, could be interested in doing something at a local markets every weekend if people were interested

The Nundah shop fastbreak mainly stocks Collectibles like figurines of X Men and stuff. You'd be able to get supplies there. They have a tiny amount of basketball. A few packs here and there but not cheap.

I probably would'nt bother to be honest.

if nundah picked its game up for NBA do you think there would be a succesful market for it in brisbane?

Carrara markets is definatly still open, not a great deal of nba but what they do have is cheap , the last box i got from there was 08/09 sp and he did it for $60 and 08/09 topps for $50 , packs for $3 ish, lots of nrl, and obscure non sport stuff
Batman forever and older stuff like that

On the gold coast mate, if you follow the m1 there is an exit to carrara cant miss the markets,

Hi Sacha,i am good friends with one of the gentlemen that ran the shop i only live around the corner.Unfortunately they closed it down and are moving it online.It was due to the lack of interest and increasing rent that pushed them out.Newsagents up here should be getting selects new product of draft cards FUTURE FORCE while you are here.

yeh been up here since Tuesday, been real nice so far, thought we mighta got a bit of rain this morning but nothing more then a few spots. Actually up for a wedding which is tomorrow, but thought we would give the kids a bit of a holiday while we were at it!!
