Break up the football section

Hi,

I Think that oztrader should break the football section into the 3 main codes NRL, AFL and Soccer. It would make looking for the cards relevant to the code you want a whole heap easier.

You've left out the great NFL.

I think this has been raised before but the only problem was the lack of people interested in each code didn't warrant a section for itself.:v:

Yep, been raised before, but it would make the front page too long and there simply isn't enough critical mass to justify it. Maybe people posting there could add "AFL", "NFL", "ARL" or "Soccer" to their thread titles to make it more obvious what they are talking about...and there is always the Search function.

Maybe we can add the prefixes like we have in the Submit Trade Section, so we can have Soccer, AFL, Rugby League, Rugby Union, NFL and other (unless im missing something obvious)

As the Doc said, if we get enough people posting about a single sport ie if we get lots of NRL related posts then we would consider a dedicated forum.

i dont think there are enough nfl and soccer collectors for individuals of those. Maybe AFL, NRL and then other football?

I agree with both Tim and Graham in their comments, so as long as it doesn't conflict with any rules etc. (could someone tell me if it does or if it poses any problems) lets start a thread that asks only all nrl collectors to post their comments, requests and replies etc. to the one thread and see what response we get.

if it is all good to go (the thread) we could give it the a title like "for NRL Collectors only" or "lets get an Rugby League only Forum Started" or something, if anybody else can think of something better let us all know.
