Did anyone watch this fight OMG what an ending.

My inital reaction was that it was very unsportsman like to pucker punch a guy at this level of boxing.
But then I starting thinking that Ortiz did it to himself, he attempted to headbutt, which he appologized for
but attempted to hug mayweather 3 or 4 times afterwards. This is a fight Ortiz, stop hugging and get those gloves up, good lord!

nevertheless very controversial, what did you think?

 
nah, floyd jr is a true proffesional. he had his head in the fight while ortiz was messing about.
hes unbeatable in my opinion. pac-man had his best chance to beat him a year ago (not that i gave him a chance then either). the longer he leaves it now, the bigger thrashing he'll get...
im suprised so many people think pacquiao would win. mayweather has the best defence ive ever seen and always fights his own style and never gets roped into a scrap. hes just too good. plus hes just about as quick, and quite a bit stronger aswell...
 
no one wants to see a boxer Full Force Punch an undefending Boxer. This would have been a good fight, spoiled by both sides. its a shame

is it his fault ortiz wasnt defending? how long is he suppose to stand there and let him 'apologise'?
fair enough tho, its not what you want to see...
 
God I hate Mayweather SOOOOO much ... Name a bigger douche bag than him ... I'm sure you can't ... The guy Is an a$$hole ... I don't understand how anyone can argue that. That's a cheap shot at the end ... Simple as that. Was NOT a fair fight If that's how It ends. I HOPE he fights Pacquiao and gets his a$$ kicked.
 
Simple fact is it was in the rules, i hate Mayweather and always will, It was a dog shot, not an illegal shot. Pacman would destroy Floyd easily. But the truth is Nonito Donaire is the best pound for pound boxer in the world. Was my man infestacide in this thread?

People that have no idea about boxing seem to be talking a lot about this.

not sure how easy it would be. itd have to be by decision i think. or you reckon he could knock him out? i just cant see that happening...the KO that is, not the win.
the problem if they fight now is, that it wouldnt be the showcase it wouldve been when pac-man was in his 'prime'.
 
100% has the power to knock him out, biggest thing that would trouble Floyd is the strange angles Pacman comes with. Floyd is a very very good boxer but in my opinion couldn't last 12 with Manny.
 
i think its hard to get shots through his defense that actually hurt him tho. very technical defender.
not denying manny has the power, just not sure anyone could break through. would still be an interesting fight despite both boxers not being what they were...

Zab Judah very much did, as did Mosley, both just didn't have the heart to finish it.

judah is the only time i remember him ever going down (could be wrong), and it wasnt exactly a clear-cut knock down. but i guess youre thinking is, if it were manny it wouldve rocked him more? fair enough i suppose...
mayweather is quick to tho, and i think more powerful than manny, so why couldnt it go the other way? especially since his D isnt up to scratch...
 
Mayweather more powerful then Manny? hell no, Floyd has no KO power. Manny has 12 more KO's and has beaten much stronger guys the Floyd. Honestly it would be a great fight, I just think Manny is to good. And if Judah didn't act like a fool he could have been an all time great.
 
im at a point where id rather they didnt fight now, because they missed the opportunity timing wise. neither are at their best anymore. so whoever wins, it would be a marred victory.
 
i think its because they were that good at their best and no-ones really come along and impressed as much since then. people are remembering them at their best, not the boxers theyve become.
 
Watch Nonito Donaire, best boxer in the world in my opinion. Also watch my good friend Benny Warburton that just won the NSW title :) he will be fighting the QLD champ in QLD next month, I'll be flying up there to watch it.

where abouts in QLD?
yeah ive seen donaire. dont watch a whole lot of the lower weight classes tho.
i like marquez for the title of 'the best'.
pretty sure manny is still no.1 pound-for-pound tho?
