NBA 50 GREATEST
Rather than go crazy and broke at the same time trying to buy multiple cards of any one player, i'm trying to complete mini PC's for each player I collect... Here is my completed Bob Cousy mini PC.
First up is the famous 1957 Topps RC. My first ever card from this set
Next is an autograph from my favorite auto set of all-time! 2001 Greats of the Game All American/50
Last is my favorite of all 3 cards. Sure the RC is a great card to have and the auto is sweet but... When is the last time you've seen a Bob Cousy Authentic GU card?
I have collected HOF and NBA 50 Greatest cards for years and never knew he even had a GU card. Only recently did I find out because a collector posted his set which included a Cousy. I then PMed him asking if he would sell, he said no. I asked if he had any info on it and why the swatch was Blue rather than Green. He said he contacted UD and they told him an All-Star jersey was used for the card :devil:
I later did my own research to see if I could find a picture of an example of a GU All-Star jersey and came across the picture below...
