"Please hold and your call will be answered by the first available customer service officer, please note all calls are recorded for training and monitoring purposes!"
Chad, the trick is when you ring....start randomly pressing numbers....and you usually are greeted with... your call is being tranferred to an operator...
I was on hold for 3/4's of an hr the other day with Austar to get my package upgraded to get Fox Sports 3, i was lucky the telly is close and i watched a full episode of Friends the a full episode of South Park.
God i hate Austar.
With Telstra you wait 5 minutes to speak to an operator (unless you know what you are doing....) then you play telstra ping pong.....
when dialling sales and Billing on 132200 just say "consultant" then whatever its about when prompted and then yes or no and just yell consultant a lot until the damn thing puts you through....
if you are with another service provider and you have no dialtone.... be sure to have isolated your equipment, then call your service provider, not Telstra... as they are not permitted to take the fault report from someone elses end user..... then when your SP goes ot pass you back to Telstra say "No, you dumbass, YOU have to phone them and report it on my behalf. TY very bloody much."
~ signed I cannot own up to working for them but ya'll probably know I do
