Bitter sweet first mailday post...

Hey everyone. After a very long delay, these finally arrived for me today.


Firstly a package from BGS...

Id sent off 5x Tim Hardaway Rookie Sensations to Beckett, as I wanted a slabbed 9.5-10 copy for the pc.
And I honestly thought I had a genuine shot at a couple of 'gem mints' and possibly even a 'pristine' with the copies i had.

But anyway here it goes...

First one was only .5 away from a gem mint


......then followed by these 3

1st one: 3x 9.5s and a 7.5?

Then the third: 2x 9.5s, 9 and another 7.5?

Upon closer inspection I notice theres damage on the same spot on BOTH cards (where ive circled
...which is hard to see from the scans) which were not there when i submitted them. Hmmmm
Ive read some horror stories regarding bgs and how they 'handle' cards, so although im quite pissed that
this happened, im actually not surprised.

I have another pile of cards which i was going to submit to BGS, which after this, i am now seriously reconsidering...




And the best for last....




Game Issue UDA Michael Jordan Auto jersey from the 95-96 season...

Sold the first one I had (a Mitchell and Ness) so I could upgrade to a Champion or Nike version.

Yeah BGS have some horror stories behind them, I wouldn't submit to them, I have hard enough time dealing with Beckett let alone getting card back undamaged and graded correctly.

But I must say I Love the Jordan signed jersey mate and the Scoring Kings insert is always a very NICE insert. Congrats mate

UDA is the way to go - but I like the Mitchell & Ness jerseys - but silver texta is a good contrast and looks sweet!

I didnt like the way the name/numbers are positioned lower on the back of their jerseys.
And they only do the size 50s on their Jordan UDAs. And it just looks... too big?
Plus ive always wanted a game issued version.

Wanting the name across the top and the stats printed on the bottom.
To be framed similar to this:

Anyone know of any place that can do this sort of custom printing/framing (preferably in SA)?

Personally though, prefer the Bunji jumper, looks sensational
