I have not done one of these for ages and have now settled in to our new pad so here we go.
Been picking a couple of things here and there. Need to get back on track with my Enshrinements though that's for sure
First up something light.
Jordan Larger than Life.
Loved this set when I was a 12 year old and never even saw one of these (only the pics in Beckett) when I was a young fella.
Next up, this caught my eye, I'd really like to see this showdown in the NBA finals this year, if not, hopefully the Spurs snag another
Just a great set and I think people are starting to appreciate UD Premier a little more now. Some great combos in this set.
This is another that caught my eye. Bit of an impulse buy

Now on to the something special
This card has been shown on here before but I want to show it again because it shows how great this community is on here.
It has a little story.
I first saw this card on google images and then opened up the site. The card was in Japan on an online card site. I emailed the seller and he replied with a price which I was happy to pay. The seller wanted me to send a money order. It seemed to me like I would basically be sending cash. Eventually he said he would accept paypal. I guess the language barrier got in the way a little because he seemed a little pushy and snappy.
I asked on this site and HK if anyone had dealt with this particular site and even searched ebayers in Japan and emailed them. Did'nt get any confirmation if this site was legit. So I backed out
I had the money for the card but I certainly could'nt afford to lose that kind of money. Meanwhile I had told Steve (Spurlec) about the card and situation and that I backed out.
Next thing, I get a pm from Steve saying he snapped up the card and it's on the way (hopefully). It got to him fine and I was very happy for him, but shattered obviously I did'nt go through with it. This card I had my eye on for a while and I just loved the design. Steve did say if he moved it, it would go to me
So now Steve sells up alot of his D. Robs and has a pretty hefty deal in place for most of his high end stuff and this card is in there.
I plead my case and beg for the card
So Steve sells it to me for only a little more than what he paid which I was pretty stoked with.

And just to show what an absolute LEGEND Steve is, he throws in this sexy little thang for free
It was just an amazing gesture and I really do appreciate it Steve. He stuck to his word and I have alot of respect for that.
The Emblems is sitting on top of my collection and I just love the thing (weird I know)
