G'day guys, had this card arrive in the mail today that i won off ebay, i have never had a 1/1 before, so i am hoping someone can help me out. This card doesn't have 1/1 stamped on it. Any info if this is really a 1/1 would be much appreciated.

looks like the black printing plate so yeh deffinately a 1/1

Plates don't have 1 of 1 stamped on them. They usually have a sticker like that on the back stating 1 of 1 which yours does. And it looks like the black plate.

Yeah, it's a 1/1. And ugly mo-fo at that, but definately a 1/1 Plate.

thanks for all the comments guys, yeh it is great to have a 1/1, but it is up for trade if anyone has an Ultimate patch card or Wood impression auto that i don't have.

Topps now frame their Printing Plates to make them look more presentable and it also allows them to stamp the '1/1' on the back of the card.

But thats definately a 1/1 and a Bill Russell at that!! Great pickup

Congrats on the 1/1 mailday Andrew.

It is of Bill Russell, a legend in the NBA history, so that is a keeper for sure. All it's missing is his autograph.

thanks for the great comments guys, i am not a huge fan of printing plates but when it is a 1/1 of Russell i am starting to think i might keep hold of it.
