So I had typed up a WHOLE LOT for this special mailday ... but then of course, accidently deleted It ...
* Never thought I would EVER get to own a real game worn jersey from Grant Hill ... the guy who I've looked up to since I was a kid In the 90's. ... The jersey Is from 2009-10. My PERSONAL FAVORITE season that I have ever seen. That 2009-10 Phoenix Suns team was real special ... Made It to the Western Conference Finals vs the Lakers ... Took LA to SIX games ... The FURTHEST Steve Nash & Grant Hill had EVER been In the Playoffs. This was Amare's last year In Phoenix; when the team chemistry was perfect. Steve had numbers that went right beside his 2 MVP seasons. Grant also had a hell of a year ... maybe his best since he came back from Injuries. I watched 80 out of 82 Phoenix Suns games that season ... and every Playoff game a couple times. Wasn't the best year that I personally ever had (really wasn't a good year for me at all), but watching that season and those games was and Is something special that I'll never forget. ... Also, this Is the LOS SUNS jersey, when all of the immigration stuff was going on ... 2009-10 when Arizona's governor and idiot sherrif wanted to basically have every brown person carry a card with them at all times showing that they were a U.S. citizen ... Terrible terrible Idea. Steve Nash actually came out and stood up for the hispanic population there In Arizona and said he was proud to wear the Los Suns jersey ... Phil Jackson said Nash shouldn't say things like that ... Shame on Phil Jackson ... Equal rights for everyone. ... I can keep going on, but here's the pictures !
I absolutely love the jersey more so than any Grant Hill card I could get, and plan to keep It forever. I'll post part 2 shortly ... Thanks for looking and any comments guys ... shout out to HairyAngryFella for showing me the jersey In the first place ! Without that, I woulda never known about It !
