Hi All

Just a real quick question that is probably really obvious,

but i just wanted to know whether these cards are worth more unredeemed both in short term and long term,

I have a couple still unredeemed and just wondering

If the company goes under it would be better to have it redeemed. If it was Select id say keep them unredeemed, but id be a little worried keeping unredeemed redemptions from these guys to be honest.

I dont understand why you think any redemption card would be worth more unredeemed??

I see lots of unredeemed cards for sale and they are worth nothing as they are useless as they have expired or the company went under.

The reason people want unredeemed cards is to redeem the full set at the same time - so they can get all cards the same number.

And also some people like the idea of getting the signature card first, that way its straight from the company. In reference to the company going bust, thats why id be sending these in now just in case something happens. But Select ones are worth more unredeemed in my opinion.

Yeah i get and i understand that but if someone has one card why would they not redeem it?

I get if they dont want it and want to sell it but just keeping it makes no sense to me

Surely they would be worth nothing if Select suddenly disappeared from the map?

I reckon the ONLY reason you wouldn't redeem your cards straight away is if you were hoping to get the whole set together and hope to get them all numbered the same!

Exactly there is no way i would be keeping cards unredeemed you never know what can happen in this day and age.

Look at all the futera unredeemed ones out there worth nothing

Each to their own i guess. I keep all my Select redemptions unredeemed, unless its hawks, better trade bait unredeemed. I know id rather trade for the unredeemed redemption than the already redeemed signature card and redemption, just me though. And if Select were to go bust im sure we would be given time to send in anything we currently have unredeemed before they shut shop, or id imagine Cardzone would get all the stock and handle the redemption process from there for a small fee. Just an idea. Im just never in a hurry to redeem something unless theres an expiry date on it.

yeh i was just wondering because i only ever really see people wanting to buy unredeemed sigs.. i might send mine away when i get a chance, anyone know how much registered post will be for these cards?

I'm 100% with Daz (BLOWN8) on this one. Unredeemed Select cards still fetch more of a premium than redeemed cards, I'm not sure why but they do. I've seen Select redeemed cards sell for $450 and the same unredeemed for $600 .

Depends on what you definition of 'nothing' is.... Unredeemed Futera wild card sold for over $100, Unredeemed Impact card $75, unredeemed, World football Rivaldo Crystal redemption sold for £60.... all these cards are well past the expiry date. I guess it's all part of the 'Master set'.

I bought all mine unredeemed so I could get the whole set the same number
