Just a general heads up to my mates on OCT.
I have had 3 instances in the last few months of people using me as a trade reference and then going on to do the wrong thing by others. I've had instances of poor behaviour towards my friends and also dodgy trade deals.
So a friendly reminder, treat anyone who contacts you with the usual level of caution you would exercise with traders on OCT with low feedback etc. If they've used me as a reference, please email me and I'll vouch for them only if I have traded with them myself.
Ironically none of the ones causing grief have actually had the pleasure of trading with me. Probably because I'm a pain in the arse, but anyhow definitely a case of caveat emptor!!
