Modra wasnt a CHF. He was a full forward! Crows have never had anyone worth mentioning in the CHF position.

Its funny with the media the way they are. They labeled Power as chockers for so long... Yet whan you look at the recent Crows finals record, doesnt exactly make for happy reading....? Yet whats been said...?
If the Crows got as much negative media as Port do here in SA ud certainly hear the crows fans speak up..... A fan graffiting the club rooms.... Or dumping manure on the coaches lawn....


Def mention RICHO!! Such a champ and for so long to...

adz2332 like i said before the Crows and AFL do not own the media and control what they write. The Power also create most of the negativity. The in house fighting over captains and what Mark Williams can and cannot do is a perfect example. I mean a club doesn't lose 6-7 off field employees in the space of a few months because everything is fine.
I never said Modra was a CHF i was just defending him because of what was said in a previous post about him. And yes the crows have never had a decent CHF but in the same strain the Power have never had a decent Full Forward (and if you tell me Scott Cummings was one ill laugh in your face).
The crows have never been labelled as chokers because they have proven themselves with 2 premierships. Port have not been labelled as chokers since they won theirs either to my memory. Maybe a couple times last year when they let large leads slip.
Port supporters need to stop whinging and feeling hard done by the media and the crows and concentrate on getting their club on the right track by actually turning up to a game and supporting the team. 18,000 people to a game when you have 36,000 members is a joke.

One more thing adz2332 the media are always on Neil Craigs case about his finals record whenever finals come around. Lots of negativity surrounding it whenever it happens.

I am sorry I am a little taken back I didn't even realise that port adelaide has supporters. Well you learn something everyday.
Are you sure you guys arn't pulling my leg, I tuned on the TV the other night and I swear there were less people there than the Soccer game in Mexico just after Swine Flu was made public.

Its true we dont have the members as we are one club with a long history/tradition. Unlike the crows who have every other SANFL club with no tradition except what they have done in the AFL.

True we have had our problems no doubt BUT we were set to loose a few coaches as they have gone onto bigger and better things.... Head coaches of Melb and Hawks...

And as far as the crows not chocking they have done little to nothing since those 2 premierships. they are always around the mark only to fall over etc...

Clarkson is from Centrals, I know he was an assistant but you can tell by the way the hawks play it is more of centrals style of game than Ports.
Also best CHF of last 10 years, I would say Richo, has played there most of the years and been Richmonds only real shinning light.

We could say the same about Port. Apart from 1 premiership. Always around the mark but never there. Or hang on maybe they are around the mark but about 119 points behind ha ha ha.
We can't help we were created from a combination of clubs. Not our fault. Blame the SANFL. As for tradition.......... what good is it doing you! 18,000 people to a match is its value id say.
Id say the crows have plenty of tradition. 2 premierships and 4 players over 300 games and a brownlow medalist sounds pretty good to me.
The Power are just pissed because they can emulate the success they had in the SANFL into the AFL. I mean they can't even make up their mind whether the AFL and SANFL clubs are affiliated or not. First your Port Adelaide Power, then you're just the Power, now you're Port Adelaide again.
Hey look ill even help you guys out. Ill go past Alberton today and slip Choco a twenty. That should help with your debt ha ha ha.
Oh by the way. Those new club rooms being built at AAMI stadium are ALL OURS!!! WOO!!!

As far as tradition, like them wanting to put all the SNFL clubs on there heratige jumper was a joke lol surely?
i think we have done pretty well in the afl so far... finishing top a few times, ansett cup wins a primership, a grandfinal etc etc

I never saw anything labelling port chokers after the GF. I saw disgrace, shocking, embarressment etc. Yes you are one club but your following in the SANFL was almost as big as all the other teams put together. You can't use your tradition to pump up your club and support it in one vain and then use it an excuse in another.
And did you mean the who cares cup? And as we all know finishing top don't mean squat if you don't win the premiership! Now ive got to go because im hungry and i have Caviar and bubbly for Lunch ha ha

mayb we WERE bigger then the other SANFL clubs. But with money being so tight people have to choose to follow one over the other etc etc hence the crowds at both the POwer and the Magpies games etc

Na true without going on it means very little...

Don't get me wrong mate. I love having Port in the AFL. I love the rivalry between the SANFL clubs. And being a Centrals supporter i Love beating the Power. But Port have some very big issues (mainly off-field) and if most supporters focused their efforts into fixing them rather than complaining about so called media bias and how poor old port always misses out and gets the bad media maybe they would find that all those things would take care of themselves.

jeepers adz and heavy get fired up why dont you but thas what you have to love even though port havent been around for long the rivalry we have with crows is better rivalry probably one of the best in the afl behind carlton, essedon and collingwood. And hey if your a doggies boy like me you should be oing for the power since the great man himself SSSSSTTTTEEEEWWWWWIIIIIEEEEE came from there.

but hey heafy your probably the first crows supporter ive talk to that has a little passion and not one of those grandmas that sits at the footy and knits lol
