Well I have been going through some of my stuff finally recently and taking pictures and such. I have a few things of Kyle Korver other than cards, and decided I'd show them here
Only a couple of things, might interest you, might not, but hey, interests me!
Start with a Signed Ball I picked up. It's full size and the auto is clean. Instead of coming with a Certificate authenticating it, it actually came with a letter. The balls were apparently posted out to all season ticket holders on the 76ers, with a letter, as a compensation for the slowness of the proper memorabilia that was meant to be sent out to them all (think from memory, something AI...) So I have a letter from the 76ers saying it's authentic
Next are some collectables. All, or most players have Bobblehead nights designated to a game. Kyle has had 2 such nights, as well as 2 other bobblehead/statues created. I have all 4.
First is the fabled 'Real Hair' bobblehead which I believe is the only bobblehead to have had 'real hair' put on them. These were handed out to the first 5000 kids under-12, with a serial numbered card, on 18th of January 2006 in Philly against the New Jersey Nets.
Second is Kyle's 2nd such night, where a Statue was handed out to all fans that went to the game on February 2nd 2007 in Philly against the Golden State Warriors.
Third is a statue like the previous one, but this one has a metallic finish and was given out for giving blood before one of the 76ers games (can't remember which 1). These ones were limited to 1,400 and have a hand numbering on the base suggesting so.
And the final bobblehead was released on Kyle's website this year around April. As a fundraiser for his home University of Creighton, he has had a Bobblehead of him in his Creighton uniform created. I bought this one directly from his website, and it has been posted from his Uni.
The final piece of memorabilia I have to show, other than a jersey that isn;t crash hot so I want another, is this signed shoe I found on ebay. The seller claimed he won it in a raffle, that is about all the info I have! I saw it and had to have it. Clean auto, took time on the auto, and it's on a Brand New shoe, not game worn, but it is the style Kyle was wearing at the time, and might still be wearing? I'm not sure.
Thanks for looking! I'll bring my MJ memorabilia and other stuff from Parents house in the coming weeks and photograph all that too.
Some nice stuff there mate! It's usually very hard finding those statues and Bobble heads a few years after they are released, so a good time to pick them up.
