Those beckett lists can be depressing, they show you how poor your actually going to be for the next few years....

I thought that, lol! I deleted all the base and regular inserts and left the GU and autos and it's still ALOT of cards for Paul Pierce

Dumb n00b question ...... pls dont laugh (too hard) .... i know a beckett is a price guide, but what's a beckett list?

Does that list every single card for a player in the history of cards??????

I can't imagine what that would look like ... is it an excel spreadsheet or txt file?

can someone send me one so i can have a look, doesnt have to be of any specific player, just curious to see the format!!

That's right!
Pick a player - every card ever produced (well 99% of the time anyway)and "Beckett Value" (although mostly of little use)
If you're a pre 96 collector, most players are 1,500+ card list by now

With d-league I'm guessing there could be quite a few!

I'm just curious to see the format of the listing .... is it in excel? that would be managable .... if u have an example that would be great .... mutumbo or any of the others would be fine.

What about other languages ... I have some japanese MJ's and some italian cards of various 90's players .... now I'm more curious!

Its just html listings, but a simple copy and paste into excel will get you the list into a much better format

you can view the checklists for free, but the OPG costs money.

They have a lot of oddball stuff, but they miss quite a few cards as well. I think they rely on the manufacturers to give them lists and sometimes theyre not 100% correct.
