hi everyone, just curious if anyone has had their nrl cards graded by beckett? I didnt think it'd be possible but I saw a few on ebay last night and thought it was cool. Anyone been through the process?
A couple years back i had sent over a bunch of non sport and others via comc to grade when it was cheap and long months of delays in returns. In that bunch i sent over a couple PC stuff to see how it turned out.

The cards above look great graded. However (*personal opinion) I feel the Aussie card market for AFL/NRL/ Cricket, grading the cards hurt its value as its back to front hear. Maybe @Matt26 could provide some thoughts as he's quite knowlagable on cards?

Coming from card collecting scenes like pokemon I can almost say this is 100% a fact, I'd never grade an nrl card for monitory value because there just isn't a market for it. I'd only grade through bgs because I love their sleeve thing inside the slab, I feel like its the most secure a card can get
yeah i agree but like i said it was an experiment with PC cards that i slipped into a larger order that will never leave the collection, so no problems either way
I might give it a go with a few older league sensations just to see how they look, its wayyyyy too expensive to do more than a couple cards at the moment though
This is taken from the AFL thread on graded cards, seems like it can be good for the right cards, i definitely wouldn't bother for low-mid range cards but for the older cards and rarer cards i definitely think there is an advantage to it. and if covid has taught us anything its that we should support local business so card grading Australia for Aussie cards at $10 each really is a good deal
