Just as a final hurrah I'd send the the links to all the forums where this is being discussed... They may not refund your $20 odd dollars but they WILL lose over 20 times that in sales due to this... All my business included...
Totally agree mate, fight it too the end, these business need to know they cant stuff around people. The more people who see it the more people they will LOSE as customers.
I had to email Beckett about 6-7 times just to get info on where my Beckett magazines are, still waiting for them and still waiting for an 8th email into my forgotten username its been that long.
Yeah I've kind of given up... I can live with the Wilt as it is, though it definitely looks like pressure on the card did the damage, I just can't 100% guarantee where that happened. And Beckett were very unhelpful/unwilling...

They do. Mum just finished working for Aussie post in their mail center. Seen it with my own eyes! Very important to use cardboard on either side of the card u send. Top loaders isn't enough.
Just over a year on I'm bumping this back up, not to get any more sympathy, not to provide any new information (I dropped it last year), but to make sure people are warned NOT to send cards to Beckett to be graded.
For the record, here is the card in question:
I have also tried to replicate the damage on a base card, and managed to get something similar - by pressing down quite heavily onto the card. I can imagine someone pressing down trying to get tape off causing this damage. That's kinda hard to show on video though....
