Beckett Grading and International Postage/insurance Questions

Post it express post international with insurance and tracking to BGS. On return you only get express with tracking as your only option.

You could send it to COMC and submit it from there, bit it takes two months plus the time to get it to and from COMC.

What would be a rough estimate of the cost including postage and fees to BGS?

How should I send it? (other than fkn carefully)

Do I just take it into Australia post or do I contact BGS first?

BGS or Beckett?

You lodge the submission online at beckett.com

Then take it to Aus Post and send it express post with tracking (including the submission slip)

Just made some enquiries at the post office. If I send it express post international with insurance and tracking to BGS. Firstly I can only insure it for 500 bucks and secondly It will cost $120 + the cost of grading.

I admit I need to read the T's and C's from the Beckett website more carefully. But how does the return postage work?. Do I need to organise it from my end before I send the card?

From memory you fill in return shipping info on the submission form.

International grading is a mandatory fee of $55ish for international express.

Aus post offers a $56ish express international and you can always add additional insurance

Personally, l would not grade it. The logoman market is already limited. Wont increase the value of the card that much in my opinion.

No. you also have the include the BGS fee.

Here's a screenshot of the submission form:

so at a glance, I'd say 2 day processing fee $30, $55 Express post, $10-25 additional insurance, and the return shipping is $60 for up to 20 graded cards.

So you're looking at: $145-$170

but the more cards you grade, the better it looks cos you're only paying one batch of shipping costs.
