Just wondering, is it possible to turn this off? Is there a reason why it's on? Just curious.

For example, if I knew someones PC player was on fire and I wanted to send them a Youtube vid of that player, it's not possible. Or even to link them to an article, it's not possible.

It would be cool if we could do that on peoples profile pages, especially when it comes to their player or team.

In the case of someone recieving something unwanted, spam, trash, something insulting, whatever - they could always report it. An even better option would be to only allow people on your friends list to have access to this. That way you'd only be posting to friends, or even posting on your own page stuff that's relevant.

Just seems to me, if we can post these kinds of things in threads it would be a good feature to have available on profile pages. It's just a simple suggestion and if it's too much of a headache then no problems.

Long story short... Is it possible? :)

Ummm can you post a screen shot for me? The allowed bb code is set site wide and not per usergroup and it includes links and embeds youtube etc just fine by just pasting the link to the youtube page.

Regarding the privacy, this is a feature in the next release of the forum software and will be available here once it gets out of beta.
