Interesting video which showcases, visually, the evolution of cards from 1930's to now (well 2012)
1997 seems to be a big breakout year. I know they have had print runs before, but serial numbered cards (with on card numbering) and game used cards started being used - which constitute some of the more desired elements of cards these days.
