Hi All,

I really lack knowledge on logoman cards (and a lot of 2000-2010 cards to be honest lol) as I collected in the 90's and then back only recently. So over the last couple of months I was on a mission to get one of these types of cards (preferably a half decent player) and finally got one today. As luck had it it was also jersey numbered:

Anyway, I was wondering if anyone knew a little history on logoman's and what to look out for and it's approximate value (hopefully didn't pay too much haha).

Thanks!

Most people want the Logoman to be a 1 of 1. Which is fair enough.

But this year in particular Upper Deck dumped a bunch in this product and some are numbered as high as 14 I think?

I would guess this would be around the $150 mark. Maybe up to $200.

I had the Ben Gordon from this set which I loved, really cool set with a great checklist.

But Panini are making them more common, which is great IMO, only the investors are unhappy about that.

Thanks for this info, much appreciated. Looking around I was thinking that Panini did have a lot so that's why I thought I would go for something that was pre-Panini to have something a bit different. Cheers

And everyone always blames Panini for oversaturating the market, like Upper Deck wouldn't have done the same.

Except Upper Deck were closing its doors and rushed a bunch of product out in order to move a lot of their stuff, so it's a little different.

I think Panini have it just about right with the Logomen. I'm certainly looking forward to the next bunch on their way out soon:)

I paid about $95 for my Okafor logoman from the same set not long after it was released and its numbered to 5 as well. I wouldn't pay a lot more than that. This was the first time logomans were mass produced as Upper Deck were looking to move all of their stocks as their NBA licensing was about to run out and slap a $200+ price tag on the boxes.

Some of the logomen in this set have a print run of up to about 15 which is obsurd. Should have made multi player logoman cards so as to not to devalue them...
