mmmmmmm i have a steve francis unripped from that set not a 1/1 but the number is stamped down where it says its card number

i think its a fake (not that i have seen a 1 of 1 for that set) but you would think the stamping would be at least centred.

Looks fake to me.

Fleer used to stamp them like this 01/01 or 1/1.

this is true for later fleer product, their first #ed product I believe was the 96/97 Flair Showcase legacy collection, the numbering is ## of ##, and I've seen and own several cards (from year 2002 and prior) they have ## of ## numbering.

Back to the card in discussion: Looks fake to me. 1of1 card typically have different foil color, that card (unripped jersey from authentix) seems like normal card nothing stands out. And yes, the stamp does look odd.

Can't find anything in beckett that suggests 1/1's of the set were printed either.

odd place for numering and ive nevr seen it as "1 of 1" on a card before. im calling fake on this one. plus its $50+, too high a price for a card your not 100% on.

if it is a fake (i think it is) why wouldnt the faker make more effort, centre the numbering and make it look real - some people are just really stupid and worse of all ruined a sweet non ripped card.
