Australian Version of Checkoutmycards

I wish it would because it's way to expensive to post cards over to there, but somehow I doubt it, not as many people collecting here as there is over there.

I've been thinking about that myself, it would be awesome... would enable aussies to send their cards in to be listed too!

Once I get my bucket sorted it'll be my next project! heh heh To make it work you'd have to make it a regional thing with NZ and asia to a certain extent....

Just read their entire history, looked just like that facebook movie... I think it will have to be a garage gig, backyard operation... and you will need a group of collectors to sponsor the site by putting in a huge amount of cards to start out... that will attract more attention in the collectors world but ultimately, the site will only be worthwhile to people around austrasia due to postage costs. The market here is not as big as the US even though we have some pretty unique cards like league, afl and cricket. But it would be nice to see a site like that come out of Australia... I will throw all my 5000 cards in there if all i have to pay is postage.

You would have to cater for all cards.
There's no reason why. The cost of running a site these days are really just your own time.

I would use it, I'm a member at COMC and Bleachers. Love them both.

For buyers - you sign up, buy credits, browse through all the cards they have, searches etc... make offers or just buy them straight up... pay with your credit... u batch up all your purchases even though they are from different sellers, send them all in one go to your home saving postage...

For sellers - you sign up, send your cards in, pay a fee for each card being processed, they scan every card, post them on the site for you, if u get a purchase, u get store credits which u can turn back into cash but they take a cut... if u re-invest store credit, they take no cut... if u keep your cards on the site, they charge u a monthly maintenance fee
