Australia post tracking not moving???

hey guys,
i had an item sent out on the 31st of Jan via tracking.
it last got an update scan on the 4th of feb as (processed through sort facility) in sydney.

the buyer has opened a case on ebay as (item not received).

has anyone experienced this?

I have had it happen to me after I put the wrong post code on the package. Called AusPost and they found it in the "dead letter" facility.

i sent a card to the USA on the 2nd feb. via express courier post (2-4 business days)
didnt even get scanned into the system until the 4th and then took 15 days after that to be delivered.
needless to say i was getting very worried.
maybe Auspost is having issues..

I've had 7 items sent registered post in the last 2 weeks and not a single item is showing the tracking details. Every single one should be there by now - only 1 has arrived, with no scan data.

yes had and item with tracking and sig on delivery, registered at post on 2nd Feb was going to the same state
i know its been delivered but tracking hasn't changed, when i contact aus post the didn't even realise that it had already been delivered they just said its still being sorted
LOL told them its delivered and why did i pay extra because tracking was not working and was delivered without signature,
communication ceased at that point no ones returning my emails,
lucky i had a honest buyer who ive dealt with before as it was $1000 worth of gear

yeah it really seems like their having issues because 3 of my other packages haven't been scanned,
really frustrated right now

Might be something to do with how AusPost are losing money at a high rate, try to cut corners to save money?

Funnily enough I just completed my first sale on eBay to the US.

Sent it via Pack & Track.

Was processed through sort facility in Brisbane on the 3rd of Feb. When it didn't move for about 4 days I contacted the AusPost twitter account to see if this was normal. They said there's no tracking updates when its in transit and going through border clearance, but it should be delivered by the 17th. Sure enough the next update was on the 11th of Feb - 6 business days later - when it was sorted through a facility in New York, but then it didn't get delivered until the 19th.

What do you expect it's Australia post we are talking about!!! No competition like other countries and I hear there is another price hike next month surprise surprise... And talk they will only deliver 3 days a week In the not to distant future according to a employee who works there....

I had a package the other week - 9 days to get from Melbourne to Adelaide (post-customs).

I bought a dvd, it had tracking, it was coming from Adelaide SA, it was processed at Friday, was not shipped to Tuesday, when it was processed again it was somewhere in the northen Territory, it has not moved since, so from Tuesday to Friday not one movement, it's ment to be coming to tasmania so why the hell it went to NT in the first place is beond me

Yeah the Austpost tracking is F#@k'd at the moment, I have been watching 2 packages.
1 was delivered yesterday after tracking stalled for 7 days at melbourne, was delivered and the tracking still hasnt changed from ' at melbourne'.
The other has been customs cleared and stalled for 3 days now. Its like they just dont scan from point to point now.
Lets hope this other one gets here quick so I can go write up my PC mailday thread
