Australia Post mailing Times

Hey guys what would the time for a standard postage for two cards from Tassie to WA be? Have been waiting for 12 days for this? it has a nice card in that package

Might be also due to the Christmas mail rush but it does seem excessive. Id ring your local Post Office.....ive had times where I have had items at the PO and not received a card to pick it up!

ive wait 3 weeks for a package from nsw to hobart. the main cause of the problem was that when queried the package was at local post office for a week before it even left.

amazingly enough my UPS package from USA come first and it was ordered 2weeks later.

I just received 2 cards from Tassie today that were sent 2 weeks ago. So don't panic yet, but could be a good idea to ask the PO.

But hows this one. I had 2 cards sent from Steve (hsv006) who's PO is less than 15 km from my PO, and it took 7 days to get here, but I received a package from Bendigo in VIC in 6 days???? both arrived today!

Yeah post times have been pretty sketchy, I got some brake calipers for my mtb sent from qld and it's been like 2 and a half weeks and nothing. Pissess me off coz I really need them!!!! Meanwhile I had a card come from syd in that time arrive in only a few days. Makes no sense.

The main thing is you can't blame the seller. The Australia post system is rubbish around christmas. Also because your in WA it will take longer to get to you from Tasmania than say Tasmania to Melbourne.
