Hi I just wanted to pop this question ?

i currently pay $19.60 for one card to international registered mail ...

can anyone give some insight whether they are paying a cheaper option that still is trackable and cheaper in expense

thanks in adavnce for all replies and sharing your advise very much appreciated

to US Trackable countries it applies they can track it from their country post service

though i know aone countries dont accept australia registered post like canada ... this is realky annoying me hate how much i have to pay to send it securely hence this post

i just wanted to see if anyone has been able to overcome this adversity ?

Yep for the kind of money we pay, we have a pretty poor postal service. You pay nearly $20 for international registered post and you can't even track the item on your own country's website, in most cases you have to use the receiving country's website to get any information.

You compare this to the U.S where tracking is available even on standard domestic mail or Asia, where international registered usually costs around $4 - $5 AUS and tracking information is detailed to the flight number and the dispatch number.

I think most people just send regular post, but I'm of the same opinion that its better to use registered in case something happens and you have some kind of security in tracking down a lost item or proof that the item had been sent.
