I thought it was a tad strange there isn't a thread about the current series being played. I have really enjoyed watching this last test, aside from the tedious commentary from some ex-players. Great to see Hauritz and Hilfenhaus bowling well, but the real fairy-tale was the 19-year-old Trinidadian Barath being the youngest ever to score a century on debut.

Look forward to Friday in Adelaide:thumbsup:

yeah i must admit seeing the aussies destroy the west indies was great but over in 3 days
man chris gayle is a joke of a captain:lol::lol::lol:

i love test match cricket in Perth, because im from tassie and we're about 3hrs behind the match doesnt start here until after lunch and then goes until about 9 at night. its great, you can knock off work, go straight home and catch the last 3hrs :D

Same here in Melbourne, goes from one through to 6 where we have a half an hour break for the news.. Then goes from 6.30 to 8.30.

Holy goat Katich out for 99 what a pisser.
I know how the bloke feels, but you can't help, but laugh if your a Blackcap.

it was a stupid shot why would you play a slog sweep when your on 99?!?! he should have just pushed it down the ground for an easy sinngle

It's called nerves...I cant imagine the nerves on 99 runs in a test match..
In theory, he probably should've played it through midwicket or mid-on but it easier said then done.

true jackson but even if i was on 99 in a test match and as nervous as nervous could be i wouldnt go for a slog sweep. If i was katich out there i would have pushed it down the ground or like you said hit it threw mid wicket but like you also said easy said than done

Channel nine is a disgrace. I thought they were only going to show the last session of the day in Perth. But it turns out we are missing out on the last half an hour as well. So people can watch Eddie's worst show since 100 v 1............... The hot seat.

ummm we are moving around quite a bit with my mates, mainly in the seated area left of the sightscreen at the Prindiville stand end- there are plenty seats available there so it is good!
