Just wondering what changes you guys would make to the team for the 2nd test in Adelaide.

Here is my team.

Katich
Watson
Ponting (c)
Clarke (if 100% not bloody 75% fit)
Hussey
Haddin
Smith
Doherty
Siddle
Hilfenhaus/ Harris
Bollinger.

I think Johnson needs to go hasn't take a wicket for 3 or 4 innings now. I think Hilfenhaus bowled well, but I'd also like to see Harris have a crack at the Poms. Something a little different.

North has to go :yellow:, I think Smith needs to be given a chance even if it is a view to the future.

Just my opinion, would love to hear yours. :thumbsup:
 
I think north might get the flick and smith gets a go, Johnson is probly going to be the only change though i recon, Bollinger might get a shot.
 
In: Kawaja or Smith and Bollinger or Harris. I'll hedge my bets.

Out: Johnson and North.

But I suspect the dreary selectors will keep the same old team.
 
This is a winner, horses for courses Ferguson and George Both SA players next test is Adelaide if bollinger is not fit (speculation prior to first test) Harris will take his place

This would be my side.. You have 4 seamers with doherty and white spinning the ball.. not really needed at the oval though.. more looking to the future.. and youv'e always got hussy to roll the arm over, hes gotta be better than north haha!
 
Well the 12 man squad is decided, team to be named tomorrow morning. I would love to see Harris in the team, i really think he would give us something different in the bowling department. I ma worried however that his knees might not be up to the rigours of test cricket. I hope i'm wrong.

i hope harris gets a run make doherty 12th man and let our part time spinners do the job we have north& katich& hussey then we have watson dougy b and siddle and harris and hifenhaus plenty of bolwers there i think to hopefully get 20 wickets or at least get them out for less than 500 :)
 
totally agree. our batting and our bowling line ups have no fire in them like they use to. They need to all be dropped to bring back that desire.

Michael Clarke should never be in the team he isnt 100% fit. He also needs to find himself some tail so he can start batting better again. Ever since the breakup he has been pathetic.

Yep, looks liek M Clarke is well past his use by Date!!
 
ryan harris just got his second golden duck for the test match, now i know he's not in the team for his batting but surely hilfy would have been better. marcus north just got out for 22, another failed test match, surely he has to go now, make way for some young blood. ponting is struggling and on the way out and only his great cricketing mind will keep his spot, clarke is struggling but should still have plenty of good cricket in him. Doherty went ok but i really think steve smith could be the answer, can bat very well, great fielder and his spin bowling is good but will only improve even more. his batting would be very handy in the lower order. not too sure who would be good swap for north as im not too up to date with the other states top orders, but im sure theres someone who would be willing to have a go.

Definitely, just hope the bouncy track doesn't expose any old gremlins for him...
