Well package arrived and man everything but 1 card was a total wreck.
All cases broken and bend like a truck went over them and shattered them into pieces and also cards are dented below is a pic of one card but u can basically get the drift of condition of all.
Is there anything I can do as aus post sent a letter stated they were damage and apologised for the Inconvience but that's not going to bring me my money or cards back.
your screwed i collect vinyl and had a $300 album damaged, aus post terms and conditions state they don't offer a fragile service, so any damage is due to incorrect packaging.
i had the postie fold the record in half to fit in my letter box, he bent the cardboard protector shredded the sides of the envelope and i filmed me removing the package from the mailbox and i still had no luck
Did you pay by Paypal? If so, you could open a case through them for an item not as described.....buyers protection?? Maybe someone here else knows more about it than me.....which wouldn't be hard!
Can't open not as described as its not fair for the sellers when post crapped this up.
As Matt got them in good condition and send them good too but post ran over them
I think anything damaged that way would be considered not aseected for their service. I'd complain to Austpost, have all your info with you including pictures. Get it up high enough and I am sure you will get some compensation. Not much but at least some.
Especially as it was sent via a parcel service. Would have been different trying to send the stuff as a apadded envelope as a letter service.
