Auctions?

hey guys, i thought of this great idea i think we should have here! maybe we can have like an auctions area, where people can auction off a card or lot, and people reply to the topic with their offers and the best bid wins.... just a thought?

Isnt that what Ebay is for ?

You can post links to Ebay auctions here, plus and you stand more chance of getting a higher price if you list it there.

It'd be REALLY hard to set up I think...

You COULD do public auctions, where people post their price after you post a scan. People might tend to feel bad tho about out-bidding other members??

There's usually about what, 20 members on per day here? Whereas on Ebay there's......... u get the point.

yeah i can see a lot of sniping and people getting pissed off, basically increasing the tension around here which is something we dont need.

Don't think it would work, but if it did I think it would go like this...

Someone post the time when the auction ends in the topic title just like when someone posts when a box break will start. Members have up till that time to post bids in the thread. When the clock stops the winning bidder gets the prize! Only problem I can see with it is time difference around oz really?!?
