At what value does everyone here consider an Nrl Card to be classed as 'high end'

as the title says, I am interested to get as many members opinion's on when they class a card 'high end' also what you class as 'low end' and 'mid range' inserts

This is in terms of NRL only hence why I have posted in the NRL section

In case I'm not being clear enough, for example would you judge a card to be 'high end' based on what it is worth, what it is numbered too, the odds of pulling the card?

Is there a certain value/number you go by e.g. $200 and up, /150 or lower or 1 per 2 boxes or higher?

I would like everyone's view on this as it seems as though everyone has a different opinion so feel free to comment regardless of how long you have been collecting,

cheers,
Troy

I think it depends on what they are... And how many there are.
Eg: the LLB from dynasty are limited to 50.. Price range $300-$400 these days. But the 2009 capt sigs also limited to 50 price range $750-$1000 (both a similar quality card. This year the FFG are limited to 130 as are the LS.. But I would consider the LS to be worth around double... Again card is of similar quality!! That said, some things amaze me... A terry hill Allstar from 2000 (500 of) still goes for $100+ but a 2000 future force limited to 300, goes for $50 and under. A benji future force is hard to find for under $150, but a Farah is lucky to get $60?? A star sensation (?2009) still goes for $100+ and there's 600 of them... Top prospect from the same year is lucky to go for $30... And there is half (only 300) it's boggling?? High end for me is anything over $200- League sensations, young guns and the like, mid $30-200 top prospects, star sigs etc... And anything under is low end!! Very hard to justify the price of some things bro... Good luck!!

Thanks mate, that is a good way of looking at it, so would you consider a gold league leader for example mid range?

I agree with BatMan.. ;)

Personally.. I think...
Anything under $30 low range...
Anything over $200 high end.....
Everything in between mid range!

M.

Batman is your new name. As you have stated it is a very individual answer being a battler myself every card over 100 is high end. To some one that have plenty of money high end cards would start around $500

I don't really have a "high end" definition, but basically any signature card I place a million times above anything else. Even if a Future Force or Top Prospect is numbered much higher than a Scanlens 2003 or League Leader black, I'd much rather have the signature card.

that's a good point, would those league leaders be worth much more if they were Signature cards?
