At the drive in..

No not the band, at the actual drive in. I won tickets from JJJ to go to the advanced screening of 'Death Proof' (Tarantino's half of Grindhouse) last night at the drive in cinemas at Bass Hill here in Sydney. I had never been to a drive in movie before and wasn't expecting too much but this was actually pretty cool. Beautiful weather, a huge arse screen, sitting in the comfort of your own car watching a cool film and to top it off, really cheap snacks.

Now wifey and I are definitely thinking of going back to check out other movies there. The atmosphere of the place is cool. Anybody else been to a drive in movie?

drive ins rule. we used to have one i went to when i was a kid, but it got shut down. not surprising with the cheap prices really, $8 for 2 movies and the snacks were dirt cheap.

Yeah I been to 1 when I was younger. I saw Croc Dundee at the drive in. When it was first released... It closed down not long after that. I think there is 1 near me but I never think to go...

Oh yeah 1 Arm Scissor kicks!!! So much better than Volta. That's way to Mexican for me!

I went to one in Ohio in July to see "Transformers". I love it. Can talk and not disturb people etc.....Really good for summer weather.

Dang it I was hoping for a tour too, and for the record I prefer the band, but the movies are pretty fun.
