Just noticed on ebay some of the Ardmona cards seller 09nando is currently selling. The guy is getting massive amounts of money for them. $50+ for an ordinary Rod Marsh autograph. $111 for Viv Richards.

I'm surprised to see such prices for ordinary signed cards - not even done with a sharpie or texta.

Anyone else find this unusual, or is that what the market is like right now?

Well Naz if that is what the market is like I think I am going to have to cash in on it and sell my sets which are complete !!

I don't get cards personally signed just to sell them.......So I never really look at those sort of autos

Problem is when you try to sell them, you may not get the same amount for yours. Probably a case of right place right time!

You and me both. I was hoping to buy a few to try and get close to completing my set, but I wasn't going to pay the prices they attracted!

Was it the same person buying them at these prices?

I have seen things like this where someone was bidding to bump up prices when they saw how much a particular buyer was willing to go up to, they would bid just under that $ figure to get maximum returns.
