Is this guy a rip off merchant?

Paid him some paypal $$ for a box of Topps Basketball cards...he said it was sent LAST tuesday....should def be there by friday. Nope.

He says it will be here monday or tuesday. Well guess what? It's now thursday, no box of cards and his last activity on here was 4 days ago.

Anyone done any dealings with him before?

I'm really ****ing angry.

I hav never delt with him or her but it could be australia post taking an age.

I just had two packages take a month to get me and they were sent straight away by the traders. And they were both from australia (one from the same city as me).

He has feedback of 1. He should of sent first in the deal as per site rules we have stated over and over again. Im not saying he has done a runner but you have to take the lead to protecting yourself sometimes and the site rules are there to avoid bad dealers trading here.

Yeah I am aware of the site rules but I always like to go old-school and expect to pay for something before I receive the product yada yada, maybe next time I should not be so trusting!

Mate, if nothing has happened in (at most) 2 weeks, we should get Graham to boot the alleged thief from the site. I'm just hoping that it was a 1990-91 box or one of those oldish crappy-ish ones.

Paypal chargeback is exactly the same as any other paypal transaction. If you don't receive the items, then you can claim it.

Where is the guy from ? It can take a while for items to arrive. I live in Brisbane and it took almost a week for something to get to the Gold Coast once. Sometimes you have to be patient.

Yeah he lives in Perth, usually takes 2 - 3 business days to come to Adelaide.

He 'sent' it last tuesday, so thats 9 business days. And it was actually agreed to be sent on the monday.

well after calling him about 50 times, to my shock he answered last night!

Spoke to him and he reckons he hasn't had net access at all...and will go to an internet cafe today and refund my $60....let's see if it happens.
