So as the title stats anyone In Melbourne know where to send your PS3 for repairs? PS3 has been stuffing up and I opened it up and cleaned te lens today but still its not good...reads DVD's perfectly but freezes while playing games...any help would be good!

hey mate do you turn it off at the back after use or leave it on stand by, your not supposed to turn it off at the back unless your not going to use it for at least 3 days. i had problems like that with my last one it was working fine until monday YLOD 
as for repairs i dont have any idea , if its still under warranty call sony otherwise using someone else voids the warranty

Yeah mine aint a YLOD problem though, apparently they are a bit different. My warranty ran out 3 months ago surprise surprise, it was a PS3 from launch day so it's lastest pretty well. I've got one guy that im trying to get a hold of who used to do mods, chips and all that but his been on the phone when i've tried to call

you could try here - Technology & Computer Market Swapmeets if there is one near where you live. They should be able to do it, they also do "special repairs"
