Im 32 and went to my first concert a couple of years ago....what band got me to finally go see a show? HIM......saw them a total of 3 times. Not sure Ill see another concert again but it was definately a fun experience.
Probably the only band Id consider going to see would be Within Temptation or Lacuna Coil....
hey guys bored so i thought i would let yas know, a couple weeks ago kings of leon played in chch so me and my mate whos dad is their tour manager and another mate drove up, personally im into my hip hop but seeing as we got free tickets and a backstage pass i thought it could be worth it, we were gona meet them backstage but they flew in did their gig and flew straight back out so we neva got to meet em but i did see them walk past when we were eating backstage. the concert was actually pretty good even though that aint my scene, and we got a pretty good seat for the gig, we were in the sound box in the middle of the floor. They are coming back in December so i might get my chance to meet them then. cool thing is that i still have my backstage pass nacklace thingy, its a great souvinere(cant spell) oh and we drove up in my 1986 starlet haha good times got her up to 140km and i was passing skylines and other grunty cars haha good times
I'm seeing the living end on Friday night at the Sydney Entertainment Centre. I have a spare ticket, let me know if anyone is interested in coming along. It's for the mosh section.

best band ive seen live is a toss up.
metallica for the black album and being in the Snake Pit onstage was prob the biggeest buzz...high fiving james hetfield was such a rush as a teenager lol.
but ive seen fear factory a few times and they absolutely rock....perfect sound.
last band i saw woulda been (at the big day out to see) Rage Against The Machine a few years back.
saw Biohazard support Pantera once and they blew Pantera away.
i cant listen to alot of this latest stuff like KOL
I missed the opportunity to see the Eagles of Death Metal (my second favourite band behind Tenacious D) concert in Melbourne a few weeks ago....it just wasn't meant to be!!
A colleague from work went (much to my disgust....because they didn't let me know they were going!!) and told me Josh Homme didn't even play the gig, he was on a QOTSA tour....apparently they had an ex-drummer from QOTSA though.
I'm pretty sure I heard over the Channel Ten News about an hour ago that the AC/DC gig actually sold out within 10 MINUTES!! Well done to everyone who managed to snap up the tickets, it should be awesome!
The Hilltop Hoods (amongst others) are performing here in Gippsland (Sale to be exact) weekend at a free, all ages show put on by Triple J.....expecting a crowd of around 30,000!!!
