Who saw the episode yesterday? Was over-the-top-thrilled to see an appearance from my ALL-TIME favourite Doctor, Tom Baker. As soon as i heard the voice, I knew it was him and couldn't help but get teary. Tom was the Doctor of my childhood.

I wouldn't call myself a Whovian but I have really gotten into it since it came back to tv. i found an interesting fact while looking through Doctor Who 50th ann. website: the first ever episode was written by an Australian- cool

Star Trek TNG was my jam when I was a kid, but my old man was a Whovian so I watched the revival series with him and stuck with it.

50th Anniversary ep was delightful, pure fan service, but held together with good writing. Gonna be sad to see Matt Smith go, of the 3 he's been my favourite, but at least Jenna Coleman is sticking around

It seems like a heartbeat ago it was 1983 and my dad was taping the 20th Anniversary on to Betamax tape, which we wore thin.

Seeing the special at the cinema in 3D was pretty damn cool. Great story, great ending and having both David Tennant and Tom Baker in it was wonderful. Hiss boo to Christopher Ecclestone for missing out - though Tom Baker has said he always regretted turning down the 20th Anniversary special so probably why he is in the 50th - that said he is the equal BEST Doctor with Tennant.
