Hi all
I joined this site because a friend of mine left me with many many Shaq basketball cards before going overseas.
Back in the day he would have spent a couple of grands on his Shaq collection.
He is overseas and is in a bit of financial trouble.
He has asked me to find means to sell them in a short period of time even if it means a hefty loss.
Any suggestions on how to?
The collection consists of what's in the image + he has two thick folders of just Shaq.
He also has big box loads of comics as well....which he also spent a few grand on..
I need ways of getting rid of them in bulk.. is the Penrith trade show this Sunday a good place to do this?

Card shows or ebay are your best bets. Bear in mind, if the Shaqs are early 90s, he probably did spend a fortune on them, but it's very unlikely he will get anywhere near what he spent on them.
ebay is likely best but if you're a new seller they'll likely hold your funds for 21 days or when the buyer confirms as received.
have a look through the lot, for serial numbered cards, lots of short print stuff goes for decent prices these days. compare to completed ebay auctions
what's that Mystery Finest card in the middle under the Boss card? There's a rare version of that that goes for a bit. Borderless or is it bordered? can't remember.
It looks like you have some nice cards to sell. I would check if any of the cards have stamped numbers on the back... they can be worth big money these days
Good luck with the sales and hopefully it gets your mate sorted
