Another Newcomer

Hi All

I have just joined and not only am I new to this site, but I have never actually used a forum before. Had a good look around and seems like a pretty good way of helping and getting help to complete sets.

If anyone can offer some help in how to make wantlists and tradelists as well as methods of putting up images of cards it would be really appreciated.

welcome to the site Adam.

There are want sections under each board ie Basketball, Cricket, Football etc..

Just create a thread with what you need in the wanted section under the right board

I am just not sure how they are normally listed. I see that many people have scan images. Is this usually required or is just text ok?

If you want to post up pics of your cards then use somewhere like Image hosting, free photo sharing & video sharing at Photobucket
You can host hundreds of pics on that site.

well a want list you put up just text.

A sale thread you can put up text only. But images help people decide if they like the card too. Putting price you want also helps.

Welcome to the boards mate, my want and trade lists started as word documents that were converted to PDF and linked to a thread, went away from that in favor of my website. I would suggest having a look at a few different approaches used on the boards and picking the one that suits you best.
