Thought i would pop in and say Hello
By far my main card collecting passion is Australian Rules based
I started collecting Cards before Scanlens came out but remember the 60,s when i had pockets full of them all in those infamous rubber bands
I have only really started collecting seriously in the last 2 years so basically i consider myself an old newbie
All those cards in my childhood are basically a memory but my passion for collecting will one day see those same cards back in my collection once more
I am a Member of the Melbourne Football Club and was alive when Footscray won their only Premiership ironically against us
I follow Norwood in the SANFL , South Fremantle in the WAFL
I also have a soft spot for my home town team of Portland in the Western Border Football League
NRL team is Melbourne Storm although i did have an interest in the Rabbitoh,s when i was a kid
I am also about to start collecting NFL Washington Redskins Team Cards and any Australian NFL players past, present and future
Cricket cards i do have but its not a priority for me
Never been into Baseball, Basketball or Ice Hockey but admire the collections i have seen from people who follow these sports
In a nutshell i collect common sets of anything that interests me
Low End Insert and Subsets (AA, Medals, B&F, Gems etc)
High End Inserts and Redemption Cards - Melbourne Players
Interstate Players who have a link with Melbourne
Oh i also trade and sell cards as well
