Another milestone achieved!! Onwards and upwards!!!

Well at the start of this year I sat at 27 KG #21/ cards and so I set myself the goal of getting to 50 by the end of this year. With a lot of help from collectors world wide (mostly the US but also OZ, China, Taiwan, Japan and Norway!!) I got there on August 30th!!! Four whole months ahead of schedule!!

I was pretty stoked and landed a great card for my 50th which it I'd been chasing for a year so it was a fitting one to bring it up with. I didn't really have any goals beyond that but so many people said - "go for 100!" that I seriously thought about it and decided I would.

To try and help me stay on-task (teacher speak!!) I set the revised goal of 65 by the end of 2007. Well today I reached that goal a month early!!

Here's #65.......

#21/29 - a nice patch compared to many from this set and great to get a refractor again too!!!!

I'm now totally skint for the year collecting wise - a speeding ticket has shattered my finances and that'll be it for the year. The BIG goal is now 100 of course by the end of 2008. This year I've picked up 38 cards so I think another 35 is within reach!!!

Then it'll be onto the #5 cards and trying to add to my collection of.........1

Matty I'm gonna try and get to 100 just using twolves cards - having a 21 card with him wearing #5 doesn't look right to me!! then will go for #5 boston cards.....

Tony - I know what u mean -I might be able to talk the wife into 1 but to be honest Xmas comes first a this time of the year with my kids looking thru brochures and revising letters to Santa every week!!!
