Can anyone confirm if dealers get discounted listing and selling prices on the BAy.

For example seller ****** has a card listed for 30 days, And has had for several terms now. I have offered only several dollars less for this card and been denied.

So surely after several terms of listing this card at the same price, theyre being charged and threfore losing money on said item.

Hope you guys understand where i am coming from.

I recently had a read about owning an ebay store because I have lots of cards that I want to sell. It turns out you really get no discounts. If you are the kind of person who wants to do fancy stuff to your listing like multiple pics, title in bold, those pointless things that they charge you for, then you might consider having an ebay store a bargain. The deal is basically like this:

1) You get to use some special program that allows you to manage listings, put them on at particular times without charge
2) You get a fixed number of Buy It Now items every month or so, depending on your package. For these items you pay a final value fee of 7.90% rather than the normal 5.25%.
3) You get a fixed number of some other fancy options every month.
4) You get to have 30 day listings
5) You get to decorate your store front
6) You still have to pay listing fees like everybody for every item you list.

Now looking at this so-called ebay store concept again, all they are offering are options that you normally would not have chosen. On top of that, they give you a program so you can put more listing on faster so they get more listing fees from you. So back to your question, how much a guy wants to sell a card is really dependent on how uptight he is. Some nut job will want to sell a $5 card for $5, some selling things as mint (pretending to be a card grader), some people are no good at doing business so they won't even offer you a better deal if you buy multiple items from them.
